"Piece of Cake" Part 2

I had so much fun making these cards! The cards above are a sample of just 3 of the stamps in the "Piece of Cake" of February Stamp of the month - only available through February 28, 2010. Follow the link above to see the stamps in more detail.

I stamped the image once on white cardstock and then again on a piece of colored paper. . .I cut the image out of the colored paper and pieced it onto the image stamped on the white cardstock.

Then I used colored pencils to add some color to the stamped image. Just a little stamp, color, cut and paste. . . I felt like I was in Kindergarten again. Ahhhhhh, how therapeutic!

Valentine Card with "Love Language"

This is one of the cards I made for Valentines Day. The paper is from the Jingle paper pack. I used cranberry ribbon and the stamped heart (in cranberry ink) is from the Love Language stamp set.

"Piece of Cake"

I have been having so much fun with this stamp set. Check back soon for pictures of the cards I've made with it. I've been using the paper piecing technique and it really has been a "Piece of Cake" to make adorable and striking cards.

Christmas Gift Idea

This is the gift we are making for some of the men in our family this year. . . I just hope they aren't all regular readers of my blog. :-)

I used a 5"x7" photo as the base and printed the text on a piece of vellum and centered that over the photo. Pretty easy and a nice gift, too.
